The Blue Lantern goes out.

The Blue Lantern acoustic night is set to close its doors for the final time. The open mic night which has taken place (almost) every Monday night at Yales (Central Station) for the past eleven years is to finish on Monday July 9th.
Wrexham legend (and Blue Lantern regular) Pete Spesh will be the special guest host for the final night.
For the most part the night was hosted by Neal Thompson and Laura Dickenson and has provided an informal chance for bands and solo artists to try out new songs.
Most of the bands and artists in Wrexham have graced the ‘stage’ at the Blue Lantern over the past eleven years.
The Blue Lantern said:
Over the years we’ve witnessed some fantastic music – including impromptu performances by members of The Kooks and Devildriver!
Get down to Yales on Monday July 9th to give the night the send off it deserves!
