Win tickets to Focus Wales

by Andrew on 24 March, 2016 | 0 comments

Focus Wales takes place in Wrexham between May 12th – 14th 2016.  This year’s festival boasts a stellar lineup of over 200 acts acts including The Joy Formidable, Los Campesinos! and the Sunshine Underground.

Courtesy of the team at Focus Wales we’ve managed to get our mitts on a pair of tickets for this years festival.

If you win you’ll be joining 5000 revellers as they overdose on a heady mix of local, national and international bands.

For your chance to win the pair of tickets simply send us an email  letting us know which band you are looking forward to seeing most and why.

We were going to set you a This Morning style mind-boggler but the chaps at Focus Wales suggested something more topical (and we thought this was a good idea).

The festival takes place over 3 days, 20 stages and has over 200 live performances from bands, DJs and comedians.

The festival also hosts numerous  interactive industry sessions and events (which can be a real eye-opener for local bands and musicians).

Along with the headliners above the festival features performances from: God Damn, Gwenno, The Anchoress, Meilyr Jones, H. Hawkline, Kagoule, Peter Hook (DJ set), Winer Villans, Kizzy Crawford, Hippies vs Ghosts, Swnami, The Roseville Band, Johnny Lloyd, HMS Morris, We Are Animal, Castles, Candelas, John Lawrence (Gorky’s), Baby Brave, Mowbird, M.W.W.B, Falls, Beach Fatigue, Seazoo, Cowbois Rhos Botwnnog, Adam Walton plus hundreds more acts!

There will be international acts from Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Iceland, Japan, Poland, USA and New Zealand along with the huge number of homegrown bands, DJs and speakers.

To have a look at the great things planned for the weekend and to buy tickets visit the Focus Wales website.

If you enter our competition we wish you good luck!

Competition Terms:

You must be over 14 to enter.  Our decision is final.  email entries only. We won’t be bribed – unless you email us a case of Glas Lyn (Purple Moose).  If you win your answer & name may be shared by ourselves and partners at Focus Wales via social media.  We won’t give your email address to anyone else (as we HATE people that do that!). We’ll be announcing the winner in early April  – good luck!
