Wrexham musician Mike Revill with Calon FM
Station Managers Nadira Tudor & Oliver Pscherer
Mike Revill is a proud Wrexham boy and has been in a number of local bands (Little Caesar at present), so he is used to performing in and around Wrexham.
In this week’s “Calon Uncut” on Calon FM, the new Community Radio for Wrexham, Mike was interviewed about his passion for music.
“I work in a bank during the day and like many people in bands, I devote all my free time to my love of music. I love performing and Wrexham is a great place to nurture raw talent. I feel very lucky to be a part of the music scene here and honoured to be an interviewee on the second show of ‘Calon Uncut’. It’s about time Wrexham had a real home for our musicians.”
Mike Revill, Musician.
Mike spoke about the town’s vibrant music scene and agreed that for such a small place, it is amazing that there is such musical diversity – a real eclectic mix catering for all tastes. Wrexham has a long history of developing local talent and there is a dedicated community following, that support the gigs and performances.
“Calon Uncut is the perfect platform for our local bands. The atmosphere in the studio during the show is electric. You can’t beat raw, live vocals and a guitar. It’s just fantastic!”
