All welcome!
Want to find out more about money you might be missing out on if your music is being played or performed? Want questions answered about selling downloads? Here’s your chance…
This is your opportunity to find out more about the music industry from the organisations who can help you and your business.
Welsh Music Foundation (WMF) is brining the music industry to North Wales for an evening of presentations and drop-in surgeries. We have AIM and BPI on hand explaining the services that they have for independent labels, PPL discussing how you could be entitled to money if records you have performed on or have released as a label are being broadcast or played by a DJ. MCPS-PRS is there too for songwriters who want to collect their royalties and MPA supporting publishers and songwriters that choose to publisher their own music.
Creative Business Wales can tell you about all the ways they can help you export your music and your hosts WMF will advise you of the support available to all music businesses and start-ups here in Wales. You can hear a little about each of the above organisations before being able to have your queries answered in 1-on-1 session their representatives. Then time to continue conversations over (free!) drinks and network with other music business too.
This really is a one-stop-shop for all music businesses, business start-ups and individuals working in the music industry in Wales. AND it’s completely free. Space is limited though so please register you interest with on 02920 494 110 or by emailing dai@welshmusicfoundation.com as soon as possible.
