The Mayors ready debut release

by Ben Davis on 4 May, 2010 | 1 comment

The Mayors have a reputation in Wrexham for being one of the ultimate live bands in the area, with a live show pitched somewhere between an exorcism and a punkadelic soul rave.

They’ve been going since 2001 in various forms, ranging from a 2 piece to 20 members and now currently a stripped down 6 piece with the founder Reverend Jimmy Jay Jameson still upholding the front man duties.

In the next couple of month’s The Mayors will be releasing their debut offering, it’s taken them near enough 9 years to get to this point, but I assure you it will be worth the wait. To commemorate this almost evangelical event they have released 2 free downloads that are available now from www.soundcloud.com/the-mayors-of-arc.

On Friday 7th May they are playing the Ironworks in Oswestry as part of a Battle of the Bands competition to win a slot on the main stage at the Ozfest music festival in Oswestry at the end of May.
