New night hits The Talbot

Introducing a new club/band night called The Kill Club, which is having it’s debut outing this Saturday 14th November at The Talbot Bar on Queen’s Street.
Here’s what organisers Josh Page and Jimmy Tindle have to say:
“The night is centred around the best underground music from 50’s rockabilly right up until early 00’s indie-pop with new wave, post punk, garage rock, shoegaze, psychedelia, electronica and many other styles in-between”.
This Saturday you will be able to catch live sets from local troubadours Roy Destroy and a debut Wales performance from the hotly tipped Newcastle band Little Comets.
Litte Comets have been likened to Vampire Weekend and Modest Mouse with their quirky Americana style pop and have gained a strong fanbase very quickly from gigging regularly across the UK.
Josh and Jimmy continue:
“The Kill Club is something that we know a lot of you have wanted to see in Wrexham for a long time so we’re counting on you to help make it a success. There’ll be cheap drinks and free pool so even if you have no idea what the bands sound like then it’s still worth heading to The Talbot for some pre-club drinking”.
Doors open at 9pm, it’s £3 entry and the bands are on stage at 9:30pm.
