The Big Beat performing at Elland Road
The Big Beat played one of their biggest gigs to date last Saturday – an audience of close to 40,000 sports fans to be precise.
As the pre-match entertainment for the England Vs Australia rugby 4 Nations final, they setup on a stage in the centre of the pitch at the Elland Road stadium in Leeds for 45 minutes before the big kick off at 7:30pm.
They’re no strangers to this type of mega gig though – over the past few months they’ve played at Old Trafford, Earl’s Court, Murrayfield and the Trafford Centre for various sporting events. How on earth do they get these gigs I hear you ask? Well, earlier this year they bagged themselves a deal with one of the countries most prestigious live booking agencies. Good work.
They still know where their roots are though; they play L’etage tonight (20th Nov) for a special one off gig in their hometown of Wrexham.
