Polly and the band at SXSW
Polly & the Pleasure Principle had a massively successful SXSW Festival in Texas with 9 performances in 5 days culminating in a showcase performance at The Liverpool Sound City day party at Latitude 30.
Chosen by the British Music Embassy as one of five bands to represent the North West at Liverpool Sound City’s SXSW showcase, Polly and the band joined Manchester’s The Whip and Liverpool’s The Hot Melts to play to a sell-out venue with queues circling the block on a one-out, one-in basis.
The band have just announced a number of showcase gigs in London during April to capitalise on the industry interest generated during SXSW – the most important being a headline gig at the Dublin Castle on 21st April.

I loved Polly and her band at SXSW! I’m from Los Angeles and go to SXSW every year to check out new bands and have to say, Polly and her band was impressive. Can’t wait for them to come to LA.
