Those who live on the Welsh side of the border will know of S4C, it’s a Welsh language TV channel which replaces Channel 4 when you live in Wales. Undoubtedly the best programme on the channel is their flagship music show ‘Bandit’.
Mr Huw
Presented by amongst others BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens, it continues to regularly feature the best up and coming Welsh musicians and bands – even if you don’t understand the Cymraeg its still a decent watch just for the live sessions they have.
Bandit are filming in Wrexham on Friday 11th February at Central Station for the show and are looking for people to attend the ‘fake gig’.
Playing are Welsh acts Mr Huw, Castles and Crash Disco and the event is totally free to get in – as long as you don’t mind being filmed and see the bands possibly playing songs more than once! Something different for a Friday evening?
Following the show is the Indie Rock ‘n’ Roll club night, so don’t forget to wear your best clobber for the telly AND dancing.
