New indie/electro night – HomeWerk

by Ben Davis on 27 March, 2008 | 3 comments

HomeWerk is a new monthly clubnight that will be spinning a mash of the finest in lost indie gems, dirty electro and everything else in between.

Here is the blurb from the organisers:

Where?
Bottom floor of Sgt. Peppers nightclub – the last Saturday of every month.

How much?

£5 entry

The first one kicks off this Saturday (29th March) with those lovely Gintis boys (www.myspace.com/gintis) – we’ll keep it clean cut pre-midnight with Indie Soup opening its doors at 10pm. ST3 and The Rat residing in the main room, the Clap or Attack Deaf Squad outback.

Movers, shakers, cupcake makers are all invited to shake their bad thing post midnight when The Glittermonks hit deck duty for all things electro ’til 3am.

There’s a 24 hour license for any 24 hour party people and we’ll close it down when you all find homes to go to. All draught pints are £2.50, selected bottles (Carling/VS) are £1.50.

  1. Everybody who can go to this should go to this!

I’m in London this week so I’m missing it sadly! Nobody has a right to moan about Saturday nights in town if they don’t bother to “do their Homewerk”

It’s the same entry fee as Central and the drinks are cheaper so… y’know

(and Gintis are loads better than The Big Beat)

  2. haha I’m also in London on Saturday but it looks like a mint night – and it should be heaving with it being the chunkster’s birthday :@)

  3. Is it chunks birthday? I think i’m going there sometime during the night, i’ll have to give him a birthday kiss.
