Mother of Six take on Cardiff

Wrexham’s ‘Mighty’ Mother Of Six will be performing a show in Cardiff in support of their eponymous debut EP on Saturday 6th February at the Gwdihŵ Café Bar.
They will be fiting a merciless sonic onslaught into the tiniest room possible, along with very special guests (the faces of whom may be familiar to locals if not the names!) Chit Foose, Sig Hansen & Boyd Coddington, who perform a unique set of synth powered sound poems and instant composition.
Their EP was released in December 2009 to some lofty words of acclaim, including:
“the finest rock recording I can recall coming out of North Wales”.
Adam Walton – BBC Radio Wales
“The songs may swing, but they swing big”.
stonerrock.com
“This band has a pristine sound; totally shimmering stuff that unloads as many heavy grooves as it does pop oriented, shimmering moments”.
Bad Acid
“Reminiscent in places of the groove and repetition popularized by the mighty Loop, but also factoring in some ambient, doom laden industrial clanking, this is ultra heavy without ever becoming alienating and is well worth getting your grubby mitts on”.
