Gallops head to the biggest music festival on earth

Gallops have confirmed their appearance at the immense SXSW Music Festival in the US of A this year… and it’s happening this week, so I expect that they’re either currently on the plane, or they’re packing their undies for the trip right now.
They’ll be travelling over the big pond to appear at a number of shows across Austin in Texas with their first being on Wednesday 16th March at Latitude 30 for the ‘New Music from Wales‘ showcase. The show is being hosted by the UK Music Embassy and also features We Are Animal, Bright Light Bright Light and The Last Republic. At the same venue on Friday they’ll be playing their own show and then on Saturday at the Mean Eyed Cat.
The SXSW Festival is celebrating it’s 25th anniversary this year and is known throughout the world as one of the most important music industry event on the calendar. International journalists, record companies, agents, talent scouts and radio pluggers flock to Texas to take part in industry seminar’s but more importantly to watch bands and artists playing across Austin’s bars and clubs. It’s renowned as the place to be for unsigned bands to get noticed by international A&R suits – from the big player labels through to the smaller independent labels.
As you should know, Texas is a few thousand miles away – and it’s hard to keep up to date with what’s happening, so… we’ve setup a live (real-time) feed of what people are saying about our own Gallops at SXSW on Twitter! Go to the link below and bookmark it so you can revisit it to keep up to date!
