Gallops have been confirmed to play the Live at Leeds festival. It takes place on the Bank Holiday weekend in May and features a huge list of gigs and events.
Throughout the weekend is a series of ticketed gigs from the more well known bands (The Drums, Hurts, Blood Red Shoes et al) and then on the Saturday around 170 bands (Gallops included) will play at venues across the city.
The final day, Sunday, involves industry discussions, networking and all that business. It’s very much like Cardiff’s Swn Festival in October that I tell you about every year.
Why is this such a catch for Gallops? Well, they’ll be in good company as previous acts to play the festival, who were at the time unknown, include The Pigeon Detectives, Kate Nash and White Lies. Good work.
