Focus Wales Relocates to Wrexham

by Ben Davis on 24 May, 2011 | 0 comments

At short notice work has been under-way on relocating as much of the Focus Wales Music event as possible, the event, which was originally to be hosted at Llangollen Pavilion, unfortunately could no longer go ahead there.

However, following a huge effort from businesses and arts groups based in Wrexham, Focus Wales’ organisers are pleased to announce the event will now take place at North Wales’ finest touring venue Central Station, on the same weekend.

The revised line up for the event includes THE ROSEVILLE BAND, CAMERA, JOHN LAWRENCE (formerly of Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci), PAPER AEROPLANES, RACHEL LLOYD & MATT NICHOLLS, BRIGHT LIGHT BRIGHT LIGHT, ANDY HICKIE & THE MERRY MAIDENS, HEAL THE LAST STAND, MOTHER OF SIX, MEILIR as well as our Competition winners Shy And The Fight, 3AC and The Steve Blackstone Band and the exciting international artists coming to perform – Scotland’s ‘Aerials Up’ and ‘I’m Kingfisher’ from Sweden.

The relocated Focus Wales will take place on Friday 27th & Saturday 28th May 2011 at Central Station, 15-17 Hill Street, Wrexham, LL11 1SN. Doors open: 5pm Friday / 4pm Saturday.

Weekend Tickets for the new event are £8.00 available from Central Station: 01978 358 780 or www.focuswales.com. Over 14s are welcome.
