Bazaar gives local musicians a chance to sell their wares

Apart from online and at their gigs, it’s hard to think of anywhere for local bands to be able to sell their wares – CDs, T-Shirts, badges etc. You go to the high street and ask the big name retailers for a little corner in their busy product racks and they almost always give the same answer – you’ll have to go through head office for that. So, this is where the charm of a local event comes to the rescue.
Central Bazaar is a modern take on the traditional craft fair offering a variety of craft, vintage, local music and art. Organisers Emma Wilson and Suzanne Dempsey say they are organising the event to help promote local crafters, artists and bands. The event will give them a platform to sell and showcase their work.
“We already have lots of exciting stalls lined up including jewellery, badges, cakes, vintage clothing, local music, plus many more crafts and gifts”.
With over 15 stands presenting an exciting array of goods it offers the town a new and exciting shopping experience, with the opportunity to snap up unique products that you will not find on the high street. It will be a chance for people to discover new talent from the region as well as pick up something new – from artworks to badges to clothing.
This will be the first event of what hopes to become a regular event for the town. Similar events have been a huge success in cities such as Cardiff and Liverpool and will attract visitors from the wider region.
Organisers are also holding a charity raffle during the event to raise money for Nightingale House Hospice. Prizes will include goodie bags, items donated by stall holders and Odeon cinema tickets. All of the proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the charity which provides active care of patients with advancing, non-curable disease and limited prognosis and their families, by a multi-professional team who have undergone recognised specialist care training.
The event takes place at Central Station (above Yales Café Bar) in Wrexham on Saturday 20th March, 11am – 4pm.

Hi, sounds like a fantastic event, you’ll have to get people down to the Fun fair with flyers whilst they’re in town!
I’ll make a note in my diary 🙂
Good luck!
