Camera are poised to show the younger generation of bands how its done with the release of their much anticipated and as yet untitled EP. It’s been recorded in Cardiff’s Music Box Studios over the past couple of months, following weeks of demo-ing and rehearsing in their Moonbase Alpha rehearsal room in Wrexham.

It will be their first release since their acclaimed debut album ‘Ashes and Dim Light‘ on My Kung Fu Records back in 2006. The release is expected in early 2009 and possible inclusions on the EP include the new songs ‘Everything Must Change’, ‘Here Comes The Summertime’, ‘Believe Me’, and ‘In The Clear Light Of Day.

Camera will be playing their first Wrexham gig in over a year at Central Station on Friday 26th December (Boxing Day). You can expect to hear the new EP played in full including the older classics. Joining them will be The Roseville Band, JKLMNO, Craig Williams, a DJ set from Ben and Steve of Camera followed by the Indie Rock ‘n’ Roll club night. Tickets are £6 adv (available via seetickets.com or Central Station) and doors are 8pm.
