Calon FM to showcase local music

Wrexham’s own community radio station Calon FM have launched a new programme, ‘Calon Uncut‘. The show, presented by Steve Dwight, hopes to become a regular platform for local bands to showcase their talents and material. Yesterday they had their first guest band, Heal The Last Stand.
Station Manager’s Nadira Tudor and Oliver Pscherer say:
“We are so happy to be able to schedule a dedicated programme to highlight local Wrexham talent. We feel that ‘Calon Uncut’ is a vital part of a local Radio Station, particularly in this area where there has been no prior platform or encouragement for our musicians. All our efforts as Station Managers will be focused on making ‘Calon Uncut’ as successful as it possibly can be.”

‘Calon Uncut’ is broadcast every Sunday from 8pm – 10pm on Calon FM (105 FM).
