Andy Hickie and the Merry Maidens to play Glastonbury!

Good news, I bring you good news – Andy Hickie and his Merry Maiden’s may not have won the Glastonbury New Talent competition but they will be playing the festival in June. I’ve been told that as soon as they finished, the main man Mr Eavis himself was so impressed by their performance he gave them a definite slot there and then. A great result seen as the exhaust fell off the minibus just outside Shepton Mallet and had to be tied on with shoelaces. Congratualtions to Andy and his Merry Maiden’s. Excellent.
After his whirlwind Glasto-filled weekend, Andy Hickie will be back to his roots playing The Old Swan with his Merry Maiden’s on Thursday night (3rd April). I suggest you get down there and witness some folk rocking love. Mark your pitch early though as I guarantee it will be overflowing. As always it’s free entry and starts at 8pm.
