A Third Consecutive Benicassim Win for Wrexham?

by Ben Davis on 14 April, 2010 | 1 comment

For the past two years Wrexham bands have consecutively won the national Supajam Fast Track to Benicassim Music Festival competition. Last year Polly Mackey & The Pleasure Principle were victorious and the year before JKLMNO beat off the thousands of entries to win the opportunity to play the huge Benicassim festival in Spain.

So, who will be the third successive Wrexham band to win the competition this year? Well, there’s a few who have cottoned on to the good run of play – No Room For Heroes, Trader, Seb Green and Danny Gruff & the Peacemakers – and they’re all hankering for your votes.

The top 40 acts with the most votes, comments and ratings on the competition website will be whittled down to just five, who will then go on to play a live final in London.

At the moment, I think Seb Green are leading the way amongst our Wrexham entries, go to www.supajam.com/fib2010, register and cast your vote before the 26th April.

  1. […] Was 2010 the third year running? No. No Room For Heroes, Trader, Seb Green and Danny Gruff & the Peacemakers were all in with a shout but none of them made it to the final 5. Fingers crossed for 2011. […]
