AN ANNUAL SONGWRITING AND ENTERPRISE AWARDS SCHEME AIMED AT ENCOURAGING AND UNCOVERING FRESH CREATIVE TALENT FROM YOUNG ARTISTS AND ENTREPRENEURS AGED 14 TO 19 YEARS.

The Make it Break it Awards is a unique award scheme for young songwriters to showcase and develop their music to get to the next step. Your school, rehearsal studios or youth club will also get £1000 worth of Yamaha equipment your choice of recording gear or instruments. You also get the opportunity to record a music video and demo in the creative environment with likeminded musicians, ending the stay with a gig for press, industry and your friends and family in the fabulous Paul McCartney Auditorium at LIPA.

For more information and to enter, go to www.makeitbreakit.org or contact mibi@lipa.ac.uk. Deadline 18th July 2008!
