Empire of Thieves unleash amazing free EP

by Andrew on 19 March, 2014 | 1 comment

Empire of ThievesEmpire of Thieves have made their stunning new EP ‘Jinx Nine Lives’ available to download for free via Bandcamp.

The EP features 3 extremely catchy tracks written by Gaz Clarey (of former wrexhammusic.co.uk favourites White Priest).

Gaz definitely hasn’t run out of ideas as while none of the tracks can be described as sounding particularly ‘of the moment’ they are undoubtedly some of the best tunes we’ve heard in ages!

Fans old enough to care about old-skool rock stompers The Wildhearts and 3 Colours Red will love the mix of melodic rock and memorable lyrics.

We strongly recommend deleting all the uber-fashionable nasty 90s dance rehash tracks you’ve probably recently downloaded and replacing them with this bunch of retro offerings.  You can thank us later!

The 3 tracks on offer are: Jinx Nine Lives, We are Monsters and Amber Empire.  You can download the full EP via Bandcamp or listen in full below.

Empire of Thieves next gig is at Zebadeez (Penny Black) in Wrexham on 21st March and judging by these tracks it will be well worth attending.

The band are something of a local ‘super-group’ as along with Gaz (ex-Whitepriest/Griftons) the other members are Rob of Whiskey&Lace fame and Dale of Juno & the Mook/Parody.

For more information about the band visit their Farcebook page.

Go on – have a listen below!
