Danny Gruff announces new tour, new EP (and befriends a Power Ranger).
Wrexham’s hardest working singer songwriter Danny Gruff will be rounding off a busy year with a UK theatre tour throughout November/December.
The tour is to promote his latest release ’Saturday Nights/Sunday Mornings’ which is available now. He also supports the release with a new video for ‘The Hangover Song’ which features hangovers, KFC and (more surprisingly) a Power Ranger. You can watch the video in full below.
2012 has been a big year for Danny – he played his first festival and received positive radio play from BBC radio as well as independent radio stations. He also completed a 5 date tour with ex Busted member James Bourne (which saw him play to packed Academy venues).
Danny has cemented his reputation as one of the region’s hardest working songwriters with over 100 shows around the country to promote his last release ‘Friends/Love/Drink’.
Danny says of Saturday Nights/Sunday Mornings:
The new EP is a progression from the last, taking influence from bands such as Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Frank Turner, Gaslight Anthem and Against me! For this reason, the EP is more band based than the last.
Danny Gruff’s new run of UK dates take place with touring buddies ‘Dave Giles’ and ‘The Candle Thieves’. The dates include:

Tuesday 27th November – Cellars(Portsmouth)
