Fireflies EP

Camera have released their long-awaited EP ‘The Fireflies EP’ last week as a free download from their website.

They have setup a ‘mini-site’ where you can preview the 5 tracks and also download the EP as a whole. Visit www.thefirefliesep.com and download your copy…NOW!

The tracklisting is as follows:
1. Can’t Explain
2. Midnight Sun
3. Change Your Mind
4. Wait For Me
5. Don’t Lose Your Faith

Here’s a quick preview of the EP, listen to Don’t Lose Your Faith:

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

This is their first release since their debut album ‘Ashes & Dim Light’ which was released to critical acclaim in 2006 and has already been receiving great press. Andy Garside of the North Wales Cultural magazine ‘The Absurd‘ says in his review:

“The Fireflies EP delivers raw power and passion of their live performances. The intimacy and delicateness of their earlier work is still here, but it plays off in contrast to Camera’s darker side, highlighted perfectly in the abslolutely stunning ‘Wait For Me’ “.

The Fireflies EP has been recorded at the Music Box Studios in Cardiffs by Llion Robertson and mastered by Mazen Murad at the world renowned Metropolis Studios in London.

This year is a busy one for Camera, with them hoping to record their second album before the year is out.

You can catch Camera supporting Brakes at Central Station in Wrexham this Sunday 26th April and the Krazyhouse in Liverpool on May 21st.
